Warm-up

Gradually increase your email sending volume to build sender reputation.

Email warm-up helps you establish a good sender reputation with email providers by gradually increasing your sending volume over time. This is essential for new domains or email addresses to avoid being flagged as spam.

Navigate to Emails > Warm-up from the sidebar.

Note: Email warm-up is available for paid plans only (Pro and Enterprise).

Getting Started

  1. Go to Emails > Warm-up from the sidebar
  2. Click Create Plan to set up a new warm-up plan
  3. Select a domain email to warm up
  4. Configure your warm-up strategy
  5. Monitor progress

Creating a Warm-up Plan

Step 1: Select Domain Email

Choose the domain email address you want to warm up. The email must be set up in Emails > Emails Setup.

Step 2: Configure Plan

Strategy Warm-up speed Conservative, Moderate, Aggressive
Target Daily Volume Maximum daily emails at end of warm-up 10 - 10,000
Total Days Duration of the warm-up period 7 - 90 days
Sender Display Name Name shown in recipient's inbox Optional
Sender Role Your role/title Optional
Sender Company Your company name Optional

Step 3: Start Plan

  1. Review your settings
  2. Click Create
  3. The warm-up plan begins automatically

Warm-up Strategies

Strategy Description Best For
Conservative Slow, steady increase New domains, cautious approach
Moderate Balanced increase (default) Most use cases
Aggressive Faster volume increase Experienced senders, time-sensitive

Monitoring Progress

Plan Detail

Click on a warm-up plan to view:

  • Current day progress
  • Daily sending volume
  • Delivery statistics
  • Plan status

Plan Status

Status Description
Active Warm-up is in progress
Paused Temporarily paused
Completed Warm-up finished successfully
Cancelled Plan was cancelled

Managing Plans

Pause Plan

Temporarily stop a warm-up:

  1. Open the plan detail
  2. Click Pause
  3. Resume when ready

Cancel Plan

Stop a warm-up permanently:

  1. Open the plan detail
  2. Click Cancel
  3. Confirm cancellation

Best Practices

  • Start early - Begin warm-up well before your planned campaign launch
  • Be patient - Rushing warm-up can hurt your reputation
  • Monitor deliverability - Watch for bounces and spam complaints
  • Use moderate strategy - Recommended for most users
  • One plan per email - Only one active warm-up plan per email address
